Synchrocut 100 Desiccant Dispensing System
This dispense and cut-off machine is capable of speeds of 300 pouches per minute and can reliably feed pouches up to 3 inches wide, 3/8 inches thick, and any length. This web handling system is targeted primarily at the food and pharmaceutical industries with stainless steel and anodized construction on all exposed surfaces. The dispensing system uses synchronized dual stepper motors and controls to provide quiet, reliable, high speed operation while constantly compensating for small variations in the product. Due to the high torque capability of the product drive motor, the Synchrocut Model 100 is able to pull many products directly off a bulk roll without any assist device, although optional assist devices can be supplied for particularly demanding applications.
A specially developed computer algorithm continuously monitors pouch size, registration signal phase, and other critical parameters, shutting down the process if any parameter is out of range. Adjustments for pouch length and alarm sensitivity are easily made through multi-turn controls mounted in the stainless steel electrical enclosure. For installation into tight quarters, the control enclosure can be mounted up to 20' away from the dispense head. The standard stainless steel push button operator interface of this web handling system is remote pendant mounted for convenient mounting in any location.
A PLC interface is standard equipment on the Synchrocut Model 100, offering external triggering, machine ready, and alarm connections. All signals are optically isolated and accept a wide range of AC or DC voltages. Dispense verification, product advance verification, custom escapements and feed-screws, and specially designed solutions are all available for the Synchrocut Model 100. The Synchrocut Model 100 is capable of controlling ancillary machinery such as conveyors, wrappers, and other devices with its processor and spare 1/0. An RS-232 or RS-485 port allows networking of the Synchrocut Model 100 with existing or planned networks, touch-screens, printers, and other Synchrocut Model 100s. Machines with standard options can be delivered anywhere in North America in 1-2 weeks. International voltages are available for quick shipment. Custom dispensing systems usually require 6-8 weeks before they are ready to ship.
