Below are samples of the skills and experience we usually seek.

Electrical Engineers-

Position includes design and specifications of complex, high-end custom automation equipment and systems. The engineer will be responsible for multiple controls projects and must be skilled in all phases of controls projects including:

  • concept and research
  • estimating
  • schematic design
  • component selection
  • panel design
  • PLC hardware and software design and development
  • development of installation plans
  • documentation
  • integration of machine controls
  • installation, startup, testing, and debugging of equipment at client site and provide field service and support

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years experience with controls design and implantation, ideally in an automation environment
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • SolidWorks proficiency
  • Understanding of electrical circuits, electronic devices, motors, instruments, sensors, and vision systems
  • Fluent in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to work hard and be part of a team that values integrity, designing and building superior machines, and having fun

Mechanical Engineers- 

Responsibilities include concept, design, specification, build and implementation of factory automation equipment such as:

  • Pick & place equipment
  • Automated assembly equipment
  • Robotic integration design
  • Material handling and automated gauging and inspection
  • Other custom equipment relating to medical, automotives, rubber and plastics, metals, chemicals, and related industries

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (or higher) in mechanical engineering or manufacturing technology
  • Experience as an engineer in a design capacity with manufacturing and industrial environments outside of an engineering office
  • Experience in SolidWorks
  • Understanding of mechanisms and strength of materials,  mathematical analysis and calculation methods for machine design,  mechanical design codes and standards
  • Dimensioning, tolerance, fit & finish
  • Machine design experience
  • Industrial safety requirements
  • Project management skills are desirable
  • Robotic experience is a plus
